In not so surprising news:

Andretti Autosports application to join F1 has officially been declined for 2025.

Officially the reason is that the other teams believe that the team would not be competitive.

But those with inside knowledge believe the reason is that the present 10 teams don't want to split revenues with another team.

The current Concorde agreements that ends in 2025 requires new teams to pay a $200 million fee up front.

The fee is split between the current 10 teams.

Don't be surprised if the next Concorde agreement increases that fee significantly.

In preparation for it's upcoming 75th season of operation, Riverside speedway is replacing the lumber in the wooden portion of it's bleachers.

Some of the old bleachers were brought over from the 1.5 mile Memphis Arkansas Speedway in Lehi.

I personally had a family member fall through a rotten board in recent years.
