I hate to say this, but JMU is good. They have put together a darn good team this year, but let's hope they come out cocky today and stink the place up. Hey, you can hope.

I still think this is the best team in the league. I know App St is good and they’ve beaten them twice. But I’ll take JMU against them on a neutral court in the tournament. This team is balanced, they play with great tempo and they are good on both ends of the court. If ODU keeps it close I’d be surprised given how the first two games went.

They have 3 senior starters. We'll find out next year just how good Byington is.

I must be missing something. Ever time I see a pre game preview, I always see a team ODU is not playing in the name of the team. In this case I see coastal vice JMU. The players are right but the name of the team above the players is not JMU.

Murphys law hates ODU. We kicked their butt for decades and the one year we play them three times it’s our worst team ever vs their best team ever.

These were the JMU starters vs Coastal and the presumptive starters vs ODU. I don't scour the web or message boards for unannounced changes, injuries or disciplinary issues.

Probably isn't good that we've had two "worst teams in the history of the university" happen within a decade of each other

Can you gals count to 7? Seems like a generation since ODU has beaten the vaunted Dukes of JMU.

Prediction: 15-point loss.

Bickerstaff not playing so the sad Monarchs have some hope.

App State is the best defensive team in the league. For that reason, they are probably the best. JMU is well rounded but doesn't do anything great. They will be a good NIT team if they dont win the tourney

Lots of empty seats at JMU today. I guess their fans don’t have time for the expected blowout.
