I've intentionally stepped away from keeping up with just about everything political. I'm pretty clueless on what's going on right now. I don't want to bother googling a bunch of topics. Can somebody catch me up in a few sentences?

1. What's the deal w/ the Biden mental competency test?
2. What's the deal w/ Mayorkis empeachment?

1. The special prosecutor in the Biden* classified document case said Joe willfully and knowingly took classified documents, but that he wouldnt recommend prosecution because Joe was mentally unable to tell him when he had been vice president or when his son died. Hur basically said Joe was such a cognative mess that no jury would convict him. But apparently he's still capable of leading the nation. Also, he went out in front of the cameras to prove he was capable, and basically blew a donkey. Hence the requests for the cognatitive test.

2. Myorkis has been impeached. It turns out he also denied Robert Kennedy SS protection. It goes to the senate, where dems will turn themselves into pretzels to try to get this swept under the rug so they dont have to take a vote on it.

So regarding #1 we're kind of at the Hillary server defense... "Yeah, she effed up but she didn't mean to"

Basically. Hur said Joe's metal capabilities would make him sympathetic to a jury, but to prove his point further, Joe went on a dementia riddled rant about it, his wife threw a comment out there that didn't have anything to do with the comments, and the WH is refusing for Joe to do a cognitive test.
