Perhaps even more disturbingly, First Lady Jill Biden even sent a fundraising email where she accused Hur, without evidence, of using "our son's death to score political points."

Here we are a week since the report was released, and some new information has come to light, including the revelation that it was not in fact Hur who brought up the tragic death of Joe Biden's son, Beau Biden, during the October 2023 interviews but Joe Biden himself - a direct contradiction to what Biden claimed in that angry presser.

And now, as the House Oversight Committee pressures the Justice Department to turn over any relevant classified materials and transcripts related to Hur's interviews with and investigation of Biden, we're learning that Robert Hur is in the midst of preparing to testify before a GOP-led Congressional committee about his findings in a hearing that could happen as soon as early March:

Special counsel Robert Hur is in final talks to publicly testify before Congress in early March about his report on President Biden's handling of classified documents, a GOP aide tells Axios.

Hur already is thinking about his testimony and has reached out to former Justice Department colleagues to potentially help him prepare, a person familiar with the matter told Axios.

Hur, a former U.S. attorney who was a Trump appointee, has been in discussions with Sarah Isgur — the head of public affairs and a senior counselor to Trump's deputy attorney general during the Mueller investigation — to help him navigate a congressional hearing.

The Axios report also speculated that Hur would likely be sitting before the House Judiciary Committee to give his testimony.

Hur's report - and a potential public hearing where an even brighter spotlight would be directed on the findings - could not be coming at a worse possible time for Biden as polls continue to show clear majorities have growing concerns about his age and fitness to lead, and do not approve of the job he's done as President.

Biden is also losing traction among core Democrat voting blocs and is trailing former President Donald Trump in several swing states in particularly troublesome signs for his 2024 reelection campaign.

So, if they decide that Hur is wrong about Ol' Foggys mental state then Ol' Foggy should be charged...just like Trump is right now. It's a lose-lose situation for Ol' Foggy.
