If it's squared away by time I get there, that's great and I'll turn around. But my immediate response to a loved one being in a dangerous situation is never going to be do nothing.

Now obviously, the beefy and pink shirt ladies that are on the opposite side of the 4 v. 1 and are at times yelling / instigating it further are clearly in the wrong.

The women in jeans and dark/brown(?) shirt that comes in calmly, stays on the outside observing, then walks away without saying anything or even being noticed. Yeah that's me if my daughter is involved and I think that's 100% acceptable in this situation (as other's point out, no security or emergency help meaning a couple undersized females ref are trying to break up a melee that involves opposing fans).
That might make some sense if the civilians were in there battling for their daughter being “outnumbered 4+ to 1” but they were obviously for the home team that mugged the one girl and did the outnumbering.

Seems clear you stopped reading after 3 sentences.

It does not matter the intentions of those leaving the stands nothing good is likely to come from it period. I am not questioning the video whatsoever merely stating the very obvious that if folks don't leave the bench/stands there is basically no way a 4 on 1 situation can occur with 3 refs and 10 players on the court and also the matter is much easier to break up without the extra bodies.

But hey if that is your gig by all means storm the court and insert yourself as need be.....but each and every person that leaves the stands should be arrested and prosecuted accordingly. I will throw this around loosely too for ya.....for every 1 person that leaves the stands with good intentions I feel safe in saying there are 10 others that would leave with not so good intentions.

You are still spouting off unsupported opinions as if they were certainties. I get that some lack common sense or sound reasoning, but when the video is right there and you are stating the direct opposite, I don't see a reason to continue.

You ramble on in the first paragraph with something that did not occur so the rest wasn’t worth reading, but that makes me the jester. Means a lot coming from you.07-coffee3

They might have to go back to the days of old when the courts were in cages and the players were segregated from the fans. Bring on Thunderdome!

Yeah, the announcer said a little girl got hurt and then a manager was bleeding and the players still raged on. Maybe it's time to up the ante on automatic suspensions for "3rd-man in" and guaranteed bans for spectators entering the field of play.

Need to do what they do here in NJ in HS games. If you leave bench you are suspended and it it happens to more than 2 players you are banned from postseason play. Happened last year to Camden who had 2 5 star players and to Atlantic City HS this year.
