Reversing a 15 point halftime deficit on the road is so difficult.

We really had too many 1st half turnovers. Our depth, adjustments, and better 2nd half effort was impressive.

Edwards does not look 100% healthy - he seemed to take a half to adjust.

Brown - seemed ok, but more tentative in half 1.

Really a great team win. Bick and Carey ate them up inside. Wooden hit key shots. Friedel, had a weak shooting night (even from the FT line), but as typical, contributed several other ways.

This is really a dangerous team. Talented, Experienced, Deep, and able to make adjustments. We we're down by 19 and found a way back on the road. We need better 40 minutes, but the 2nd half was very strong.

Truly a great team effort.

Back to back plays by Horton and the 3 by Brown were HUGE. Thought we dug such a huge hole it was going to be hard to get back into it on the road, but kudos to them for fighting their way back into it.

Noticed that too, and realized it on one instance when he came off the court he walked down the bench and everyone was trying to give him 5 but he pretty much protected the left and only used the right as if the left was too hurt.

I’ll ask here but if no replies maybe I’ll make a thread.

Edwards is a true Duke. His post game presser last weekend was incredible. Is there any Edwards jerseys or NIL gear to support him? He is an absolute great individual that we all should support.

The late season doldrums real. Byington has 2 more road games next week to try to motivate a team that knows it is playing bottom feeders.
Very well should have lost tonight to a 6-22 team considering the giant hole they were in.

I thought JMU might drop one of the 4 consecutive road games. It’s the nature of the sport and hard to convince players to get up for the opponents they are facing.

I think it will actually be a good thing if JMU loses at fake GSU or at Coastal Carolina. Something to make the players embarrassed and angry heading into the Sun Belt tourney.

The performance tonight won’t float in the tourney and a better team would have closed the deal against the Dukes. But tonight isn’t the tournament so on we go and here’s to a healthy squad in Pensacola. 04-cheers

Never hope for a loss. I think dukes are in line for an at large. Be hopeful.

Ga Southern has an awful record. But they are a very young team that is playing a lot better than their record in at least the last 2 games that we saw them play. JMU did not lay an egg. They ran into a team that couldn't miss in the first half and grabbed a lot of rebounds. No game is a gimmee.

A conference game, end of the season, and on the road. A recipe for a tight game and often a loss

So far in the top 25:

Wake beat Duke; KSt beat BYU, Kentucky beats higher ranked UA by 23, UCF beat TexTech, AZSt beat Wash St, and UNLV beat ColSt.

27/28 regular season wins - would be extraordinary. AppSt & JMU need to be in conversation for NCAA bid - period!
