Walked into the arena at floor level just as that started. That was pretty crazy to see so closely. Thought punches were going to fly. Can’t believe they were letting them play so physically even after that happened.

Upset city with Texas State looking much stronger than an #11 seed. The path is easier for JMU now. Survive and advance then see who is next. Style points do not matter. Just win baby.

Of the three top-4 seeds that have played so far, two have had a tough go, 1-seed App needing overtime to beat 9-seed G. South, and 3-seed Troy losing to 11-seed Texas St. (4-seed Ark St. won handily over 5-seed Louisiana). So, I'm a little worried that we come out cold and rusty due to the double bye.

I hope we come out strong, go up big early and never look back.
