After breaking up the no-hitter earlier in the game, Gallo now breaks open the shut out by hitting a two out 2 run Home run. After a double and a home run today constituting literally half of the owls hits, hopefully Gallo’s bat can start warming up.

Final out on—what else—a strikeout. Another 13K game.

We have an absolutely terrible offensive team.

0-18 with 9 Ks.

And he's made 5 errors so far this year. Yet he's playing almost everyday instead of Royo and/or Cummings.

Won on a homer into the Crawford Boxes that was on a first pitch fastball down the middle. Good things happen!

Sad state of affairs on South Main when the only glee is that the Longhorns lost. Embarrassing. On another note, we had a great time at the Rice game (despite the loss) hosting the Pilgrim Academy middle school baseball team, most of whom have not been on a college campus. The kids had a blast and really got into rooting for Ben Dukes for some reason. Another highlight was Mark Appel stopping by to visit with the kids. Kudos to Mark; he’s an incredible young man.
