I'd imagine any school with an ESPN contract could do this, if desired. Don't believe there's any limit on how many ESPN+ events can be aired. Some schools put mini features and pressers on there.

Some coaches may not find it beneficial to publicly broadcast an early scouting report for opponents however.

I suppose for Kennesaw State, it'll be one of (if not the only) time they're going to get ESPN coverage without competition or comparison.
Can't imagine it's going to be viewed by that many people.

I'm sure a large chunk of people will be watching the 'game' and wonder why a D-II school is on ESPN.
Making a pretty easy prediction: Kennesaw State is going to be a regular member of the Bottom 10 this season (and for many seasons to come). I guess if you are a bottom feeder like Soft Houston, they probably feel like they are getting a gift. At least they will be able to beat 1 school on their schedule.
