Manhunt on AppleTV
It's about the Lincoln assassination.
In the 1st episode after Lincoln has died, the US Secretary of War, Edwin Stanton, gets asked by a journalist if John Wilkes Boothe weakened our democracy.
He responds: Booth is an anomaly. This is America. We replace our Presidents with elections, not with coups.
Crazy that in 2024 roughly half our country is going to vote for a guy on Team Coup.

RE: Manhunt on AppleTV
Is it any good? I've been thinking about getting AppleTV again to watch Masters of the Air and some other stuff. I used to have it, but at the time there just wasn't enough content to justify paying for yet another streaming service. There are some great shows that I liked a lot (Ted Lasso, Severance), but there just wasn't much after that.

RE: Manhunt on AppleTV
Yeah, AppleTV has gotten pretty good. Masters of the Air was really good. First few episodes were OK, but then it really picked up towards the end.
I’ve only watched the 1st episode of Manhunt. Not bad. It’s only 7 episodes.
There are some pretty good sitcoms on AppleTV now: Shrinking & Platonic.
