NIT Selection show
is on ESPN2 at 8:30pm. We might find out we are in the CBI or CIT, before the show is over, but I doubt they will be able to release the full field and brackets before the NIT field is released.

RE: NIT Selection show
St. John's turns down the NIT. I guess if it was still played in New York Pitino would have accepted. On the other hand, they probably would have been given home games, in New York (at MSG), until the semifinals and finals in Indianapolis.

OU turns down NIT. Tom Crean had a few words for the coaches (and or players) who lacked the competitive fire keeping playing. Interesting that our 2 ex-coaches both chose not to play.

"There's no question about it," Crean said on ESPN. "I would want to coach, I would want to develop my team. You've got bigger staffs than you've ever had. There's plenty of time for the portal. There's plenty of time to talk to recruits. There's plenty of time to negotiate NIL deals.

"There's not plenty of time to play. There's not plenty of time to get your players on the floor and give them a chance to get better. There's not plenty of time for guys to continue to play that may never get to play again. And that to me is absolutely ridiculous."

Couldn’t agree more.
