Total Solar eclipse 2024
Anybody going to check this out?

I'm heading to the Poplar Bluff MO area hoping it will be sunny. Excited about even the chance to see another one (saw the 2017 one in Illinois). Especially if you have friends/family in the path of totality, it's worth the trip. Hotels are probably booked or outrageously expensive at this point.

I'm camping in some podunk campground near findlay Ohio. Should be fun!

I'm looking forward to it - though not the traffic. Bringing a small telescope to hopefully get a closer-up look briefly during totality. I tend to attract clouds though so be grateful I won't be anywhere near you.

Looking ahead at long range weather models, this has some bust potential for MI/OH. Still a ways away though.

NIU007, knock on wood, but if you're heading to Missouri you may be in the sweet spot.
