Something I was thinking about, I know in football Coach RR had a say in the uniforms. I wonder if HCMJ will have the same control over what we have or if we just wear whatever UA gives us. As much as I like the crown logo I would love to see us go back to the "OLD DOMINION" on the front like he wore back in the day, either both words above the numbers or top and bottom like our Hudson blue throwbacks. I love the crown logo on the court, pants, hats, helmets, etc but have never really liked the look on the jersey

Yes please. Those uniforms like Frank wore were the best.

An occasional “Norfolk” on those uniforms would be interesting too.

It would be nice to be able to advertise where the school is located, but I think it's more important that the school name be on the uniform. This is not the NBA.

I vote for OLD DOMINION on the front and MONARCHS or UNIVERSITY under the letter. Also jazz up colors and use the lion some where. Please, back to the nineties.p

I hope HCMJ embraces the Hudson Blue uniforms. When he played ODU never did throwbacks in the light blue.

If the pants are a solid color, maybe a loin on the side. Blue on white, white on blue. I hope MJ knows some people want to go back to the iuniform, he played in. I always hated that little odu with the lion below it. I believe that started in the Jeff era.

I think you misread what I wrote. I was saying use the layout of the Hudson uniforms in the standard colors we wear. Make a navy uniform, make a white uniform and keep the Hudsons.

The more I think about it, they have to make a change. The new era requires a new look to ingrain the change.

I agree with this. Three uniforms just like this.

Another vote for 3 uniforms like this. Old above numbers, Dominion under numbers. That's an Old Dominion basketball uniform. The crown logo we've used on the chest the last decade looks so tacky.

As long as we stay away from the Food Lion logo

I'd propose a 4th, a silver alternate. I'd be okay with the same layout for all 4 of them with the current hudson throwback as the template. Just like football, we'd have a bunch of options that are all the same general look, aren't over the top, and have a clean classic look. UA has been great to us but having a different template every year was exhasting, but this past years I thought was one of the better looks we had with how simple the striping was.

While watching the Alabama game last night I really appreciated the look of their "CRIMSON "#" TIDE" uniforms. It was classic, clean, and looked great. We'll see what HCMJ does

EDIT: Currently the hudson throwback doesn't have NOB which makes sense but if we were to use that as our template I would add the NOB. But I think that goes without saying haha
