I feel like this team would have continued its solid play and would have had a chance to make some noise in the tournament if Mills had not gone down.

If Penny is guilty of anything, it’s not having enough quality depth/capable defenders. Can’t say he didn’t try to bring in players, but we needed more quality guards.

It didn’t help that Brown was a massive bust either.

Maybe not just you, but definitely a minority. As mentioned, Penny has publicly addressed the past season, so now we look ahead to our future together. GTG!

Sorry, but 22-10 is not what I consider a "devastating" season and Penny doesn't owe anyone an apology. We underperformed expectations that we would make the NCAA's, for sure, but it was not a devastating season. We had some good wins which were apparently more than offset by some inexplicable losses to lesser teams, in the eyes of the selection committee. But the sun rises again, in spite of our disappointment. I hope Penny can learn from something from this season and both he and Stansbury will be ready to make a good run next season. Go Tigers!

I would like Penny to own up to this-- that he needs to still learn and grow as a coach; and that he learnt a lot from the past season and he and his staff will work on x, y, z next seasons (share the plan) to make us better next season.

#Alabama proved Penny wrong for all the excuses that he used throughput the season.

I really thought with the talents that we had;and the teams that we beat early in the season, we would be more like Clemson (Team we beat) or NC State, as they showed up in this tournament. I've following tigers for all 25+ years and I've never been that dishearted or dscouraged as I felt this year.

I sure hope not...that could undermine him in multiple ways.

There is nobody who wants Penny to succeed more than I do. I want him to work smarter not harder (he already works very hard). I want him to improve his communication skills with his players and the city. Mostly I want his success. I have always enjoyed being a Tiger fan when it was us against erbody. When Penny signed with Larry that was a big day. We need days like that now.

I want him to work harder. Especially in January

It was a devastating season. To fail to make the top four in this conference this year is devastating. It is one of the worst performances I can remember.

It was a devastating season. To fail to make the top four in this conference this year is devastating. It is one of the worst performances I can remember.

A few seasons in a row with tremendous roster turnover makes it tough to develop any sort of cohesive team (both on AND off the court).

While every program is subject to more annual roster turnover due to the rule changes, it seems we've experienced more than most.
