That's interesting... another article said that PJ was the 2nd highest transfer available.

Even if racecarguy saw that article putting PJ in 2nd place...he would have posted the same stats from CBS. lol

PJ is also awesome.. ...he was second to Edey--second in the country in getting to the line.
David Jones also got to the line......I was thinking he was amazing but PJ is even better

Meh. He will be better than Brown but that is a pretty low bar. Penny needs bigs and I give him and Stansbury credit for finding one that has good experience.

The transfer rankings that I've seen are completely stupid. Espn was FAU center Golden at 19. He's 100% top 3.. easily one of the top 20 players in country regardless of transfer or class

What would be even funnier is if we actually do make the Final Four next year! Then, the last laugh will be on me and that's something we ALL will enjoy! 04-cheers

Seen your other posts recently and I do see you take a sarcastic approach ... I'm good with that, it just doesn't come off well when reading a specific message unless you know the history/tendencies of the poster.

But yes, I do share some of your sentiments. Here's hoping Penny knows what type of seasoned player he wants now and also doesn't overload the roster with guys expecting big time minutes.

+3 on us having different styles/opinions and being cool about it! 04-cheers

Bottom line...We both want Memphis to take home the Golden Ring!

I watched Illinois play a couple of games this year, but didn't watch him exclusively.

EXCITING pick-up!

An Illinois fan called him the Dancing Bear 'cause his footwork was so good.

Awesome! Penny's putting in work! 04-bow

It is Penny's true nature to succeed. 04-cheers And I liked that Dainja said he was impressed with how much Penny and Stansbury knew about his game.

Well, this guys a load. Looks bigger than Malcolm with better footwork.

Seems like a replacement for Malco. Big and strong body but better footwork than Malco. Appears slightly less athletic. But if he can rebound, rim protect and not be a black hole every time he gets the ball then he will be an upgrade.

ahh yes, the Golden Ring...the one we almost nabbed a couple times.

no worries...We are here for ya, dude...

That's the beauty of sports forums...we are here for each other when the joy and the disappointment hits.

Loss and victory are a package deal. Don't piss on the joyful times or do piss on the joyful times...

shrug... Most of us had at least one family member who couldn't help pissing on the joyful times. Nobody payed much attention to that one.

Most of us also had family members who could enjoy the good moments to their fullest.

I am very thankful for the Tiger fans here like that! They are the majority.

04-cheers !Go Tigers Go!

Absolutely. Should easily be ranked equivalent to what Hunter Dickinson was last year in the portal.

Pretty sure espn is not overly concerned with ranking the portal players of mid majors.

But Dain didn't play as much last season...so he might not be fresh in their minds...if they have any minds.

Not the only rankings that is stupid. Most are carried with a lot of bias
