Dan Hurley hasn’t just embraced the NIL system – it’s allowed him to coach his players harder. Now that his players can make money, he demands more of his players across the board.

Penny says he is already coaching them 20 hours a day , now you want him to coach 21 hours a day

According to Penny he let too much go unchecked. My whole point is money is changing the relationships between players and coaches. If you’re going to demand tens or hundreds of thousand dollars to play you are a professional and expectations rise significantly.

I've been saying it...

College players are now pros... treat them like pros.

Along with NIL $$$ comes a contract... produce to get paid. Don't produce, don't get paid. Leave personal feelings off the court. On the court you're a team and you'll play like one.

Try being on an NBA roster and let your feelings dictate how you'll practice, how you'll play and how you treat your teammates.
