Right! What Iran wants is to slowly provoke an Israeli response which they know can be made to look disproportional so that their lackies in the media can do more distancing of good will toward Israel before the real attack begins.
As I'm sure you already know, they are part of the problem (this one and all the others - i.e. illegals invading us, inflation, military preparedness, current terrorism alert level, etc., etc., etc.).

1. BIden in public claimed he and America were behind Israel during the attacks
2. hours later, he tells Netanyahu that he opposes an Israeli response to Iran
A lot of two-faced B.S. from Biden. And the source I mentioned earlier shows condradicts this supposed source. So Iran has free reign to attack Israel and our troops at will without any kind of reprucussions.
Quote:NBC News reported Biden has privately said he fears Netanyahu is trying to drag the U.S. into war while a senior administration official told NBC, “The Israelis don’t always make the best strategic decisions.”
Excerpt from NBC report headlined, “U.S. concerned Israel will respond to Iran without thought to potential fallout”
Some top U.S. officials are concerned Israel could do something quickly in response to Iran’s attacks without thinking through potential fallout afterward, according to a senior administration official and a senior defense official.
…President Joe Biden has privately expressed concern that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to drag the U.S. more deeply into a broader conflict, according to three people familiar with his comments.
…“I don’t think they had a strategy,” the senior administration official said. “The Israelis don’t always make the best strategic decisions.”

Pretty rich that the children in charge of our foreign policy warn that the Israelis don't often make the best decisions. Like OUR "leaders" so often do.
I could improve our decisions by asking what the left thinks and then doing the opposite.
RE: With the U.S. on the Brink of War With Iran, the Biden* Administration Tries One Last
The Iran deal that Kerry and Obama forced down the throats of the American people was badly flawed for several reasons:
1) The testing and verification provisions were woefully inadequate; without no notice surprise inspections, you are just playing games.
2) The corrective and remedial procedures in case of violations were inadequate.
3) The release of impounded funds should have been tied to Iran's behaviour--say 10% a year for 10 years, as long as Iran behaves properly.
Both sides got wahat they wanted. Kerry and Obama got a piece of paper, and Iran got money to fund terrorism and is getting nukes.

"Republicans" arent going to stop the aid package because they cant. They barely even have a majority---and if thats not enough of an issue---nearly half of Republican voters support aid for Ukraine---so Johnson is going to lose quite a few votes when the issue comes to the floor. The only real leverage Johnson had was he could slow things down---and the Democrats didnt want that. Since he was going to eventually lose anyway---what Johnson SHOULD have done was make sure he got something in exchange for pushing the measure through before it began to effect the battlefield (say additional border wall funding or a law requiring asylum seekers to stay in Mexico) . Instead---he fumbled the ball and will end up passing Ukraine aid while essentially get nothing in return. Johnson has not been impressive over the last 90 days or so.
