I am pleased, although Rogers is not noted for his defense. Hopefully, Penny conveyed and Rogers understands his role. The multiple alpha dog strategy last season was ineffective.

Agree. If Jones comes back for some reason, we'll have 3 elite scorers in the backcourt. I hope Penny gets us a couple Caleb Mills's

I would think getting this guy probably means Jones is not coming back.

Jones could slot into the 3 and Rodgers the 2. With the depleted roster you just are trying to get bodies that can play right now.

Hopefully Colby from Wichita St will pan out at Memphis.. Watson was terrible.

Penny needs to steal one of the standouts from UAB.. Lendeborg or Vasquez would be a nice coup.. Miller from Temple is a nice guard, too.

We will have a roster loaded with talented players. There is zero doubt about that. We've had plenty of talent over the past 5-6 years.

Last year the issue was getting extremely talented players to buy into his vision for the team, and to play together as a team.

Are there any decent bigs available that Penny is going after? We will need some height and/or beef in the paint.

lol - You 2 try too hard sometimes.

Maybe you will rest easier knowing that Colby has been a consistent 3-shooter for 4 years, whereas Jaykwon had 1 good season. And Colby shot about 2x as many.
