A friend's son is up for the local boys high school athlete of the week.

Grant Mariencheck
Junior at Evangelical Christian School (ECS) in Memphis
Lacrosse

He scored 11 goals last week in wins over Arlington, USN, and Hillsboro.

My mom worked for a guy named Bill Mariencheck back in the 1980's. He was a pulmonologist. Any relation to this kid? Maybe his grand dad?

Funny side note...in the 1980's, their office was at St. Francis Hospital and they used to smoke cigarettes, inside the Pulmonology office, in between patient visits. Even one of the other doctors. 03-lmfao
