You’re invited to join the Little Rock Trojans Women’s Golf team for the NCAA Selection Show Watch Party Wednesday, April 24th at 12:30pm in the Legends Room at the Jack Stephens Center.

The Little Rock Women’s Golf Team will learn their NCAA Regional location on Wednesday at 1pm. The Selection Show will be on the Golf Channel. As a supporter of the Trojan athletics you are invited to attend and celebrate with the team. The Watch Party will start at 12:30pm in the Legends Room with the show beginning at 1pm.

Attendees are asked to enter the Legends Room from the southwest corner entrance by the Legends Room.

What is the LR golf history. How many times have we been post-season on either side?

First time for women. Men have been past 3 years and made it to the ncaa championship round 3 years ago.

The Little Rock women's golf team celebrated its first-ever NCAA selection Wednesday and will now move forward to prepare for the Bryan Regional, to be played at the Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas and hosted by Texas A&M University on May 6-8.

Little Rock earned an automatic bid by claiming the Ohio Valley Conference title – the program's first conference title in 25 years – and received the 12th seed in Bryan. The rest of the field includes (seeded in the following order):

Clemson
Vanderbilt
SMU
Ohio State
Maryland
Iowa State
Texas State
Sam Houston
Sacred Heart
Little Rock

Starting to like the OVC more and more. Winning championships is what it is all about. We were not winning national championships whether in the Sun Belt of OVC. Might as well fill the rafters with OVC championship banners.

For those who don't know, all the girls are from Europe (5) or South America (1). The coach is also from Europe. Really don't care where are athletes are from but I like the diversity I see on our sports teams. Apparently the women golfers are smart (3.8 GPA) and, if it is not too sexist to say, very attractive. They are great ambassadors for our school and city. They are already "winners", but if they can finish higher than their seed (12) I would be a great achievement.

Yes, that was sexist. Are the men's golfers attractive too?
