No Man's Sky, as a game, probably won't be all that good. The scope of that game and incredibly high repeatability ks what makes it so attractive.

Single Player-wise, I would argue that the top 5 games this year are below:

MGS:5
Rise of the Tomb Raider (I actually loved the reboot)
Fallout 4 (even though I've never been a fan of the 5 years behind the times graphics and rigid as all hell gameplay, plus the game killing VATS system)
Just Cause 3 (this is an undercover FANTASTIC franchise, it's a big dumb action movie set in literally the beat map specs in video game history size and graphics wise)
The Witcher 3

Although, as for entertainment quality, I have a feeling JC3 and Divinity: Original Sin take the cake by far.
