they are like Lays potato chips, you can't have just one.

Personally, I kind of like having relatively cheap figures from some of my favorite video games that can also unlock stuff in games I own ...so its not just a shelf decoration ... and some of the unlocks are pretty cool, and the trainable AI fighters in Smash are pretty good. They still need to do a real game that involves them at a level of say your average Disney Infiniti, Lego ____, or Skylanders...
