My wife will be there & pregnant. I'm not a fighter by any means, but I won't hesitate to chokeslam anyone that deserves it. :chair:

....seriously, man....I hope you don't have a group of them around you. As evidenced by that baseball game, they're not much better than animals....they have no respect for anything or anybody.

That ain't happening. She's not too thrilled about only getting to the first two games this year, plus missing the game in Knoxville.
Have you ever tried to tell a pregnant woman that she can't do something? :eek2:
I'd rather take my chances with the goons from Mississippi...despite what they say, there's going to be more Tiger fans there that will have my back.

alienuforia Wrote:Draelius, those 3000 extra tickets you mentioned are selling really well. Last I heard on Wednesday, we're under 1300 remaining tickets of the additional ones we requested. We may yet ask for more as Memphis has plenty to give according to their ticket office. At $45 a pop, they are obviously prepared to sell as many as they can. A lot of our fans have been ordering through their ticket office to get better seats, so I haven't been too worried about our fans not getting tickets.
I used to think these Ole Miss guys were just trying to get under our skin, but the more I read their goofy posts, the more I think they believe the garbage they spew. There must be a class your sophmore year down there you take that does a little Sun-Young-Moon brain wash to your already limited intelligence.
I just hope there is enough room for the twenty to thirty Tiger fans who are considering attending!
I won't be surprised to read that our season ticket sales are up simply because the Ole Miss fan base wanted good seats for the Ole Miss game.
There are no bigger morons or worse fans than the ones they grow down there in Mississippi.

You are silly for bringing your pregnant wife to a game that means so little in the big scheme of things. Why risk your unborn in the mid-afternoon heat and human elements for her live enjoyment when you both can watch it on prime time? Besides, there's always , which you can't get at the stadium.
That lady in Oxford got what she deserved being 8 months potbelly pregnant and standing on a sloped hill(WTF?!) in a standing room only section of the stadium with students around her. She's the type that would have asteroid health insurance too I bet. Out of 10,000 people that show up for a ballgame, there's always a few that find a way to have a bad time.

And isn't it strange that they boast about how unimportant this game is, while at the same time, scramble for all available tickets.
I know that doesn't even happen for most of their SEC games, if the opposing SEC school doesn't bring 20,000, they aren't even close to a sell out.
The Memphis game is the biggest game on their schedule, and it really hurts them that they have been losing more than they win lately.
After we win Labor Day, won't we have a winning record against them for over a decade? And that was with Rip!

You know, you're right...beating Mississippi really doesn't mean much anymore it does mean so little...it's watching your fans cry afterwards that's so fun.
Way to show that typical Mississippi class with "That lady in Oxford got what she deserved". It's a freaking sports event...not life or death...cheer for your team, mock the other team, but there's a point where you draw the line.

You just said an 8 month pregnant Ole Miss fan got what she deserved. I hope she stops back by here. That is so unbelieveably insane, it has to be from a true Ole Miss moron.

We did. The SEC officially recognized it in their records and sent out two trophies - one to Ole Miss and one to LSU. What's funny is that you guys delusion yourselves out of the idea that we won it. Your blue brains can't fathom the idea that we went 7-1 in the SEC that year, which is the same record as LSU had. Winning the Cotton Bowl and getting 10-wins was fabulous. Seeing Barry Sanders with his son in person was something quite memorable as well. Too bad you guys will never know what it's like to play in a prime time bowl game past December or feel what it's like to play in the best conference in America. And then you sit there and wonder why you are deserted in a mid-major conference.

True, but it felt great to kick Eli's ass that year. Even in one of your best years with the best QB in your history, you couldn't beat Memphis. Glad you got to see Barry, that's about as close as Mississippi will come to having a future NFL hall of famer.

Wow....congrats on actually finishing above the usual bottom 2 slots in the conference that year. I can see where you'd be proud.
I forget, who'd you lose to that year?
