Bottom line---It is no ones business who gives what and why. Whether Bossman is giving or not and bragging about it is still no one elses business. I know for a fact that there are several people who gripe about there not being enough money given and then they do not give themselves. Some are members of Highland Hundred who pay their small $100 and never give anything else for example "Tiger Scholarship Fund" and then talk about how they are such big donors. Truth be told, they just want to brag that they are a member of the HH. It sounds like there are too many people looking for an ego boost. Please get off this subject.

Bossman has always made sure that I got a tshirt .
I bought one, eons ago and he has given me one ever since even though I have offered to buy it.
He even mailed me one, one time as a surprise.
If there has been or is a problem with what he does, I have not been aware of it.
I can only speak for myself and I am the first to say that I know very little about anything.
I do know when someone has been very kind to me, and he has.
I believe he also makes sure Kpig gets shirts for the kids.
Just felt like I should defend him by saying what I know.

Without revealing myself, I am a person with some high-up connections within the athletic department that knows for a fact that you do not give money to the athletic department, at least not the amount you say you do. Your father is a booster though for sure. The tickets you get to the games are most likely the result of another boosters high donation that you like to claim here as your own to make yourself seem like some high-level booster. Like I said, you seem to have good intentions and some good ideas but you go about it way wrong. If you think the university won't likely press you on copyright infringement if you go against their wishes you may be sorely mistaken.

I think there are some people that are threatened whenever the status quo is challenged.

I do not know if BOSSMAN is doing the right thing, but I know that he is at least starting something that needs to be discussed. I think it is totally time for Memphis to step up to the next level. Getting us recognition with the Black and Blue game IS the right thing to do.

I do not know BOSSMAN, nor have I ever had any dealing with him (to my knowledge). but I do agree with the thought of what he is attempting to do. I do not know his motivation, nor do I think any other person can guarentee that they do either, but the end results would justify the motivation in my opinion. If he gets things done, I think that it is the right thing to do.

I worked for a boss, that in my opinion, took advantage of the 9-11 tragedy by selling American flag items. Now he did not make much profit, but to make ANY profit during that time was wrong. I found it even worse that he said all his profits would be donated, which only part of it was.

I guess I am trying to say that I can see both side, but am glad that there are people out there with good ideas that seem to be trying to do the right thing.

Oh yea he and his wife are my kids GODPARENTS.

If more people would GET involved like the BOSSMAN instead of just talking about things the University would be in much better shape.
