Seeing how Duke athletics are so terrible and all...

Didn't Alleva hire Gail G. (I'm not even going to attempt to spell her last name ) ?

Duke's former AD Butters hired all the successful coaches at Duke. Alleva's only been AD for a few years and hired very unsuccessful coaches in football, baseball, and womens soccer. Field hockey coach resigned well over a month ago, is Alleva even aware of that and how much recruiting is being hurt? Are there any decent field hockey programs outside of NC, VA, and MD, how hard could it be to find a national championship caliber coach? Averill at Wake won it all this fall. nate, why aren't you commenting on Averill and field hockey, and also Duke and Wake's baseball and football coaches and AD, aren't you a Duke fan?

Right. Okay, I think I've got it now. After your successful campaign to fire Alleva, then Duke will hire Ron Wellman away from us, bringing all of our successful coaches with him. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I thought we were supposed to play Duke in football this year, but I see you're playing Rice and Northwestern again. And maybe Navy. I was actually looking forward to making the trip to Durham. Oh well. GO CATS!!
