Perhaps then you could stop posting how little you know of a man many on here admired greatly.

If you care to do some research on the man and his music - and I'm not going to berate you if you don't want to - then come back and let us know what you think. Until then, you are on the wrong thread. Thank you.
i only posted that i didn't know who he was, but all of a sudeen everyone started attacking me. I wasn't going to *****-out and just take that.
Right - because you'd hate to have your internet persona pride hurt.

All I'm asking is that you respect those that would like to mourn by not saying anything about someone of which you know nothing. Had you done so initially, no one would have ripped you.

And for the record, I'd be willing to bet that some of your musical influences might have Mr. Charles as their influences.
i never attacked him. I just simply asked who he was, and things escalated from there.

i'd have to disagree.

I also, like some stuff not played on G105. Like New Found Glory, and Something Corporate. They're both awesome.

You're kidding, right?
no, i'm serious. Who is he?
for someone so utterly uninformed you sure voice loud opinions.

maybe you should pause to realize you have nothing on which to base these opinions and you should be learning instead of talking so much.
so, because i didn't know of ray charles, that means i don't know anything about sports or politics? I got news for you: not everything revoloves around your beloved blind guy!

Next time, don't be an a$$!
There are plenty of articles on the following topic. This is a quote from this Atl Biz Journal article

You can probably figure out what stage you're at.

Quote:On the trip from incompetence to competence, people pass through stages in the acquisition of a skill.

Level 1, unconscious incompetence. You don't know what you don't know. Ignorance is bliss. Here, you face an opportunity or challenge you've never encountered or dealt with before. To move to the next level, you must commit to training.

Level 2, conscious incompetence. Now, you know you don't know it. This occurs through self-discovery or it jumps up and bites you. You experience discomfort and anxiety, sometimes to extreme levels.
...

Level 3, conscious competence. You've learned how to do it, but it takes all your focus and concentration to obtain the same results as one who has mastered the activity.

Level 4, unconscious competence. This is the final, ultimate stage. You are skilled to the point that you don't even think about it while you do it. The skill is ingrained and part of who you are.

you are strange

you feel the need to post your opionion on every topic-it seems usualy just to be opposite of whoever you are replying to. and when someone else posts a different opionion then you, you get all high and mighty

just let some topics go kid. you dont have to object to everything anyone posts on here.

But by your own admission:

Quote:i never attacked him. I just simply asked who he was, and things escalated from there.

You appear to be saying that you never agreed or disagreed. I concur. I simply asked that if you didn't know anything about it, perhaps you could not comment on how little you know about it. We really don't need your input about something of which you (admittedly) know nothing.

Again, if you care to do some research on the subject, then come back and let us know what you think. If you don't like Mr. Charles' music, then we'll properly berate you for being a moron with no musical taste, but until that point your opinion on something of which you know nothing is irrelevant, and we'd kinda appreciate your staying out of it.

Now, back to the fact that Ray Charles' death broke my mom's heart last week. :(
