A certain number of anonymous posters are insulted by the BOTDs. Considering this:

Do you think that the BOTDs are too revealing and should be cleaned up?

I think that voting yes for this poll should not necessarily mean that the BOTD fodder is too revealing for you personally.

More precisely I would ask; If posts of this nature are alienating a certain number of regular posters/readers should they be cleaned up?

Personally, I do not find BOTD insulting. However, if they are alienating people whose posts I enjoy reading, this concerns me.

ok I am going to stick my neck out here and say this: I was told in the chats tonight that our complaints/OPINIONS related to this subject were just endless b*tching....which doesn't sit well with me-- just wondering if anyone else out there has any opinions on this thought...

I do not hold stock in the BOTDs at all. Of course I would rather have them, but that is just my opinion. If more people would rather not have them, I won't lose an ounce of sleep over it.

The whole point of what I was saying is that I want what is best for the boards . The boards have flourished with the BOTDs, and as far as myself and others can see, the majority likes them (could be different, dependant on the poll).

Stacie, if you really think I want to skew these results, you are dead wrong.

The endless *****ing was at the whole conversation, not just the BOTD subject. It was the whole attitude of the conversation.

Jeeze Louise. Do you really think this is a life or death situation for me? Right now, the only thing I benefit from is HAVING a result, not what it is.

Plus, how is the way I worded it going to affect the votes on one side or the other?

I agree with Apoc's post completely, except at the end, i would go a step beyond saying that it concerns me and saying that I think it should just be outright changed.

Several of us were discussing this in the chat room and there were some good points made

OK. Apparently I missed a major blow up last night. This is my two cents.....

There are about 3-4 people who post BOTD's. Can we just get them to agree to tone down the pictures? Judging from the posts, that would make everyone happy. I don't think the girls want them to completely go away, just not be so racy. The girls post Male BOTD's, so I don't think this is a one sided thing. Swagger is the one who started BOTD. I'll ask him to be more sensitive with the pictures he chooses. Would that be cool for everyone?
