It's all good Boog. I knew what you meant. Probably not any headed your way for a while. I'm living it up in France... the food is amazing here, but no BBQ shrimp or cookies. There's a lot of good chocolate though... :)

So how badly does the average frenchman hate America? Just curious, I hear it's overblown when you talk to the average citizen.

I was planning on it but I have a friend home on leave from Afghanistan so we are going to have a big blow-out BBQ on Saturday. I haven't made the road trip up to Boise since the 90's.

Way over-blown. No one is rude to me because I am American. Generally, they like our country, but dislike our President. Much like our own people... LOL!

I've lived in 3 of the WAC cities: Reno, Boise, and Moscow.

Out of those three, I'd say Reno is the best for a road trip. So much to do...

Moscow is a great places to live, and offers some really cool places to visit in the surrounding area, but the city itself isn't much of a tourist destination.

Boise is also a nice place to live, and can be a fun city to visit, but it doesn't compare to Reno for a spot to visit.

I have tailgated in Salt Lake City, Reno, Moscow, Logan, Pocatello and Corvallis.
I really think Boise has the best tailaging. The parking lot is thick with tailgaters, many that never go to the games. They watch the game on their Tv's at the tailgates. Many of Dish setups.
I am fond of saying the 40,000 fans go to Boise State games, but 10,000 stay in the parking lot.
That is an exageration, but probably by only a factor of 2. I bet there are 5,000 fans still tailgating in the lot while every seat in Bronco stadium is full.

Amazing change in 5 short years. I used to tailgate with a big group and there were just a few big tailgating groups. Now there are many and most of them welcome visitors from the opponent schools....

I concur. I left the game at halftime and the tailgate area was jammed with folks watching tv, hanging out, etc.

It helps that you're blond as they like short blond ladies! Also, it doesn't hurt that you have that 6'9" hunk along with you either! :bluethumb:

My hair continues to naturally get darker as I age... and that pesky gray is already starting to come in, but it is hard to see.

Nice to see that that hunk is still growing! Honestly, he's 6-7... :D
