You're an idiot. Saying you support traditional marriage isn't hate speech. Your frequent assertion you have no problem with people who attack Christians is a lot closer to hate than the former.

I haven't read what he said but did he condemn gay marriage or just say he supports traditional marriage? There is a difference.

BY READING THIS POST YOU RECOGNIZE THAT IMATY IS THE LAST GREAT CRUSADER FOR TRUTH AND JUSTICE SO HELP YOU GOD.

I've always been aware that CFA is a bigoted business. This doesn't surprise me at all.

I don't even get the first statement Tom.. Because it was not them that put politics into this...

The CEO had an interview with a Baptist Newsletter, because, well, the CEO is a strong Christian believer. It was then that left/GLAADs that went balistic over the comments.

I found out many moons ago, when I happened to be in a mall and their food-outlets was closed, so I asked around and found out that fact.

You mean the GLAADers never paid attention til now??

Btw... I saw this story on Facebook earlier... (a Gizmodo story that had no FACTS to back up the story, but HEY, let's just go out and make MORE accusations and call people names while we can shall we?).

CFA is the entity that started it by giving millions of donations to anti-Gay political groups.

And GLAAD gives millions to anti-Capitalist, Socialist political groups. I think I'll stick with Chick-Fil-A. ...and I'm not at all concerned with what two people do in their own bedrooms. Keep attacking family values and people that don't hold the same viewpoints as you. You'll drive the independent/libertarian-thinking people like me away from ANY support I give to you.

Exactly. Max is to narrow minded to realize this. There is a huge difference between saying "I hate gays and wish they would burn in hell." and "I support tradition marriage." Even saying something like "I don't support gays" or "I don't like gays" is not hate speech.

Christian publicly asserts Christian beliefs; beliefs are politically incorrect speech; speech equals hate; hate encourages mistreatment; encouragement equals crime...

So.. and GLAAD gives money to pro-Gay political groups.

It's called part of the political process".... unless you only want certain political groups to be able to be financed through donations... or are you in favor of squelching free speech as well? Cause it sure sounds like it.

"People/companies can only donate to political groups if Tom agrees to them! Nobody else is allowed!"

He's not open on Sundays. I'm sure that costs him business. He doesn't support homosexuality, though clearly (by the fact that there are no lawsuits and my local store features a drive through hostess who is CLEARLY in drag) he doesn't violate any law. It costs him business as well I'm certain. So what? I don't go to chic-fil-a because I support the CEOs personal beliefs. I go there for food.

I just find it amazingly stupid that democrats so often want to legislate against peoples beliefs, and then get mad when people want to legislate against theirs. Freedom means putting up with people you disagree with. Deal with it.

"Freedom" used to mean keeping whatever races you wanted out of your restaurant. The freedom to discriminate is not a virtue.

How are his personal beliefs and feeling about gays discriminating against them? Chick Fil-A doesn't discriminate against gays. They are fee to eat there and work there if they like and I have seen many doing so.
Is he also discriminating against atheists since Chick Fil-A is closed on Sundays?

Oh. Go onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.................... 03-lmfao

No, it's forcing them to pay for it. On the other hand no one forces gays to go to chic-fil-a or pay for anything to do with it.

Poor comparison Tom.

You are correct there. They just won't be able to open new stores in tolerant regions and will have to rely on the confederate region for their expansion. THat will hurt their business in the long run.

As I said, I thought their chicken sandwich is ok(a lot better than most) but nothing spectacular. I liked the waffle fries. THat was the best part of the meal.

That's not his only comment on gay marriage and he's donated large amounts of money to anti-gay groups. According to the right, giving money is speech as well.
Bull_In_Exile admitted that in an earlier post.

Ok, let's kill the guy because his opinion is different than yours. Happy? Hopefully you differ with Obama some where and we can solve that problem the same way.
Nobody on here is calling for him to be killed. Why would you even think about someone killing the man?

Hot waffle fries are pretty damn good. Also try the chicken noodle soup sometime. It's suprisingly good.

Can someone point out where he stated he opposed gay marriage? This is a direct quote.

"We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit," he said. "We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that ... we know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."

In terms of using real chicken, it is good(a heck of a lot better thanMcDonalds or most fast food outlets) but other than that, it is nothing special.

you should hear Tom in Lazy and the other leftists justify the acts of the "super tolerant" Dan Savage.....you know, the guy the White House supported (and Obama shot a video for) who started the national anti bully campaign. the same guy who called conservative homosexuals f@ggots and cursed out teenagers for leaving his hate filled speech.

its amazing how anti heterosexual and traditional/natural family these people are
