I was talking about Aresco's comments not anyone else.

I just hope the contract gets negotiated soon. I'm getting tired of the wait and the lack of anything concrete. And the message boards are so speculative it's driving me nuts!

The b ball schools are going to play fewer games against the new all sports adds but more against each other how will that go down

I think we are going to see a 20 game basketball schedule where the conference doubles up on the best games to maximize revenue. I expect my Bearcats to have home and home with Marquette, Memphis, and three of the following Temple, UConn, Georgetown, St. John's, and Villanova.

I just hope this conference gets paid because we need.

Aresco gave a little hint into why ECU will get an all sports invite with that tid bit about the bball schools not playing the new members as much

Well the Big East did finally quiet some of it's loudest critics.

Each team does a home & home with every team in the same division (14 games) and plays 6 more games against teams in the other division. Division winners get seeds 1 and 2 in the tournament and the rest of the tournament is seeded based on record.

Pretty simple. You just do north south divisions for basketball you play each team in your division twice and that would pretty much take care of that wouldn't it?

amen....and kudos for the sense of humor.

I don't expect that the power basketball programs not playing the southern schools as often as they play each other will go over well in Memphis, but if that keeps the conference together; it's all good in the long run.

I thought "east" was pretty simple, but was wrong.
