Pinstripe, Gator and Capital One Bowls are looking very ACCy

if we get the Orange,Gator,Belk,Pinstripe,Champs Sports,Music City& some seasons the Capitol One would be a solid slate of games IMO. add in a Texas bowl yearly & it's a done deal. Notre Dame's inclusion really expands our options bowl wise

Praying the ACC gets the Gator Bowl back. Captal One I don't see why they would go away from Big 10/SEC.

that would only be in seasons the B1G plays in the Orange Bowl. My guess is that would get a top 3 ACC pick during those years if that were to happen

Belk likely moves up a spot or two. Rumors are it will replace the ACC-SEC match up we had in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

What happened with the Sun Bowl?

The Sun Bowl isn't a lock to be an ACC bowl at this point.

Let's see... SEC Network HQ is 14 miles from the Belk bowl... ACC Network HQ (assuming HQ is at Raycom) is about 1 mile from the stadium... ACC also OWNS the Belk bowl... ACC / SEC a REAL possibility there

Good ol' Dinich. It hasn't been the Champs Sports Bowl in almost a year. And Raycom owns the Belk Bowl, not the ACC, right?

That's fantastic!!! If we can drop into the Capital One bowl whenever the B1G plays in the Orange it'll mean at least a $5 mil payday. The Gator bowl is one of the highest paying bowls to be left out of the CFP and if it's against the SEC even better!!! I want the Pinstripe but was hoping it wouldn't be in the top 4 because we had higher paying bowls.

That's a lot of SEC tie ins. CapOne, Gator, Belk and Music City.

That's a shame. It was a good lower tier bowl that teams that don't travel could go to because of their great local turn out.

Pinstripe Bowl...Hell No and I live in NY and I still say HELL NO. Some Bowl games need to be eliminated and this is one of them. The Pinstripe Bowl is like the consolation prize of bowl games. "Hey you're team is really not that good but we have a bowl game you can play in for all your mediocre effort during the season"

All bowl games outside the CFP are a consolation prize.

No doubt. The bowl games ACC teams NEED to shoot for in 2014 are the Rose & Sugar. Really, the Orange should be considered as a consolation prize if you are a top team (much less the Gator, Russell, Belk, Outback, etc.)

STILL, it's nice to have a soft landing spot for those years when you leap for the playoffs and don't quite make it... (just don't start thinking that a trip to the Sun Bowl is "good enough")
