I'd be happy for the Niners to have either a W Basketball title or College World Series title, but if I have a choice I'd prefer CWS title. And since ESPN will now be broadcasting ALL CWS games I think NCAA Baseball is in a good place for the future.

Baseball is more of a regional sport than basketball, but the only reason women's basketball gets coverage is because it's forced on the networks as part of their tv contracts.

Looked at the weather forecast for the weekend and there's no rain in the forecast, but the wind is supposed to blowing pretty good out of the NE. Any ECU fans know what direction that would be blowing at your stadium? It would be blowing straight in from center here.

Vag Basketball is also attended far better nationally. Point is I don't really care about either one nor do most people compared to the big 2. When you talk about important things like TV deals and conference expansion they are non factors. I check our records and RPI's occationally during the season and half tune in in postseason if we are in it. That's the extent I care. Actually it pisses me off we did things like build a baseball, softball, track, and soccer stadiums before we even took care of things like a basketball practice facility. They just distracted away from what was important.

This is beginning to be a bad trend. Anything REMOTELY negative about ECU is mentioned. Then some other fan (recently either 6BC or USM) will "wonder" what SJ thinks. And sho nuff, he appears. Then people get pissed that he posts. I mean WTF? No one is ask what this greg or servant boy thinks about a situation (thankfully).

Though both teams are playing decent ball as of late, they've both been terribly erratic all year, & have not played up to potential.
Series could go either way 2-1.
