Big series between the two hottest teams in CUSA. Both teams come in having won 8 of 10. Hoping for a sweep but I'll be happy with 2 out of 3.

Rice fans are hoping ECU wins at least 1, and preferably 2. The Owls have also won 5 of our last 6, and hold the tie-breaker over both USM and ECU.

We haven't lost a series since we played y'all here. ECU series is always close. We swept last year but all three could have gone their way.
Tiebreaker only matters for tournament seeding. If there's a tie for 1st in CUSA the teams share the title.

We've watched the nice season USM has put together. It will be an interesting conference tournament. Hope to see a lot of the fans here in Houston.

Should be a good one. Too bad I am only able to go to the Sunday game. I don't think either team sweeps. I bet its 2-1 which ever way it goes.

As most ECU fans will tell you all roads to any Cusa Championship will go through USM.......baseball, too. Hopefully we can continue to play USM for many years to come. It is one of our measuring stick for winning any Cusa Championship.

ECU has been more confident at the plate lately, especially in late innings, but a series win is hard for ECU the past few years against the top of the league just because they find a way to lose late in close games. See Rice forever and the USM series the past few years. I'm in favor of a coaching change, but I think he's saved his job if the latest trend continues.
