I want you to take this with as much offense as you can.

ECU is in an itty bitty small part of North Carolina, that most people outside of Greenville could care less about. They will never ever be with the big boys of college athletics. You have always and will continue to be in the have nots of college athletics. If that hurts your feelings then good.

Yes USF and UConn have a lot of history.

USF is just a lil over 50 years old and haven't done a damn thing except get in the BE because of George Stienbrinner giving them 28 million dollars to lobby the BE and Mike Tranghese. They have played football less than 20 years and besides a few years under Jim Leavitt in the mid 2000s, have sucked. Your boy Skippy couldn't do anything there.

UConn is 490-517-38 overall with most of that losing in IAA. They bullied their way in to the BE saying that if they didn't take them they would take their basketball out. They also had one of the dirtiest coaches in the history of college basketball. But he won and made the NCAA money. Jim Calhoun was John Calipari on steroids.

You have two of the worst programs in the nation in Tulane (495-606-38) and Temple (433-555-53).

Here is whats going to happen with your new conference. No one will ever be able to pull away and dominate the conference, therefore not a single program will ever make it to the BCS game, you will beat the crap out of each other year in and year out.

You sure know an awful lot about the future. Maybe you could use it to your financial advantage. However, your ignorance about North Carolina is astounding.

You have a lot of hate in your heart.

The most honest description of the AAC I've seen so far.

Greenville NC could fall in a sink hole and Id throw a party. Your stupid, ignorant, retarded, dumb***, backwards idiots that post here have made me come to HATE ECU. I hope we never schedule or play you again. And playing any AAC school in a bowl is not a reward for Marshall, Rice, UAB, UTEP or USM.

You won't bait me into bad-mouthing C-USA schools. You take message boards too seriously if you really get this worked up and angry over a few fans. Like I said, that's an awful, awful lot of hatred inside you.

NONE of us fans have ANY bearing on what goes on with conference realignment. ECU fans are excited about a new opportunity. That's all. Marshall fans also have a new opportunity for their school to dominate the new C-USA.

I like Marshall. I'm making my first trip to Huntington in November for our game up there. Hopefully you won't be stalking the tailgates looking for ECU fans to harass, since you hate us so much. But I won't consider you as an accurate representative of most Marshall fans who have a mutual respect with ECU.

Not a chance. The P5 will do nothing to dilute their monetary pool if this were to happen. ECU football is popular in eastern NC, but sorry you are never going to be in the top tier of CF. Just enjoy what you have. Be proud of what you have. Just realize that you, and every other school in NC are locked out of the ACC as long as state and carolina are there. That's the reality. That's the way it's going to be.

You make more personal attacks than anyone I have encountered on this message board.Having said that, I will not paint all Mashall fans or Hunttington with the same broad strokes you have us.

First, when you had a losing football record last season (5-7) you should be one of the most improved teams ..........best of luck with that:)
Second, ECU is second largest university in NC (28,000+ students) and seat 50,000 in its football stadium. Now, if that is itty bitty then where do you compare in numbers?
Third, as you quote football history records of other schools just remember your past football record against ECU:
(Overall) 4-10 and (Cusa) 2-6....ECU favor .....two ECU Cusa football titles to your 0 titles.........that's real facts!

And none of that matters to the P5 or anyone else in the country. Marshall accomplished more from 1997-2004 than ECU has in most of it's history. ECU has never been in the national eye the way Marshall has. Yes that was wrecked by Snyder and Kayo Marcum. there is no disputing that. However you need to stop acting like you are this juggernaut program. You aren't NO ONE not an ECU fan cares about ECU. No one is eager to get to their tvs to watch ECU play. One of the best known moments in ECU football history is their epic chock job in the 2001 GMAC Bowl.
