It barely grazed his right upper arm.

Question RE: Rice vs. USM (Saturday)
Noticed we scored 11 runs, 10 in the first inning, which was a lot more scoring than we needed to win the game against a weak opponent. I like Coach Graham.

Where was he hit when he was plunked in the first inning?

USM brought a left hander in to pitch. Lewis for Gray was the obligatory right hand batter to face LHP

I love having Coach Graham.

That aside, I have no idea about what point you're trying to make about our scoring 11 runs, 10 in the 1st in this game . . . . versus the number or runs we score in any game, and at what time we score them, or against whom we score them?

The number or runs we score is generally not a decision that the players or the coaches get to dictate. It's not a matter of letting up on the gas pedal or not. It's a matter or who is pitching, when they get relieved and how our batters are doing in a given game, bearing in mind that a 35% success rate is outstanding.

The other team adjusts to what you are doing in EVERY sport.

Well this was a fun thread to read -- would have been more fun to be at the game... Thanks to SmackDiddy for his ongoing interpretation of Gametracker. Imagine what it would be like if he actually saw live action? I vote that we let Smack take over the mic when the kids take over the park.
