It's too bad that he didn't have a Justin Holman like Frost. [Image: groucho.gif]

ECU obviously lacked the talent UCF has.

It's not "too much capacity". It's only adding 1,000 premium seats. most of which have been sold.

OK that makes sense. I thought they were going to expand DF to 63K.

No kidding talking about not enough talent against a team that didn't win a game a year ago

That's the master plan but that's years if not a couple decades away

Yup I believe UCF severely underperformed last season. Give Mo a season or two to recruit and we should have our NFL pipeline open once again.

Have you seen the players he's recruiting. It's like he thinks we're in the MAC

Looks like regional 3 stars like we always go after? You honestly think we should be recruiting 4 and 5 stars that if they do commit to us almost never ends up on campus?

Look at the offers. 2 or 3 with any P5 offers. Most only have offers from FCS teams.

Smart move to milk more $$$ from existing seats rather than adding unneeded capacity.

There will be a lot of money to be made from the corporate suites and premium seating for years to come...but...You are correct that the press box is probably the main focus of this expansion. There will be increases in PC dues also to gain access to the South Side and the new concourse area and its new facilities. They are not doing this with an eye to income growth. I already am planning to increase my donation and move to the South side. I have not done it before because of the better facilities in the upper deck. The South side concourse plan is very nice.

The houses behind the press box are being taken down as I type. Phase 1 almost complete. #55mil

The houses as in the neighborhood behind the stadium? I always thought it would cool to own one of those.

They have taken the closest four homes down to create room for the next phase. The rest will stay

Incorrect. That's the entire point of the suites. They decided to add 4 more b/c of demand.
