Cards keep underclass men
D Brown, Fields, Kelsey & JH Clemons all sought info from the NFL. All 4 have decided to come back next year! That's 18 returning on the defensive 2 deep I believe. I believe that's also 18 of 22 starters returning.

Shaq Wiggins is another. He has tweeted out that he's coming back to get his degree.

A side benefit to retaining all these guys is that it does nothing but help to attract replacement coaches. Who wouldn't want to coach this much experience coming back?

With Fields coming back I really have to give credit to Todd Grantham. Fields knows he can make millions more if he spends one more year with him. It reminds me of Kyle Funkhouser on the baseball team. Have to feel great about kids who make the best decision for everyone!

Fields has All American potential, if he does that then he's easily a top 20 pick.

Yeah, there's talent & depth in the secondary for whoever comes in to work with. I hate to see Brown & Buckley go though.
Any rumors on possible replacements yet?

Look for Grantham connections. D recruiting has actually improved after Strong.
Love and appreciate those guys.

Since there's obviously some upheaval going on at A&M I would take a look at Terry Joseph, he's their DB coach. A&M has ranked among the best against the pass.
