The only reported ejection was the Tech left fielder who was the base runner. The ejection was most likely for excessive contact trying to bowl over the fielder about ten feet from the plate since the catcher had moved up the line during the rundown.

I can't disagree with that being the only ejection if that was what was called.

Heading to the 12th in Ruston tied 2-2.

I don't know what to tell you guys if you don't think a dive at the legs of a position player 5-10 feet in front of the plate with no intent to score isn't dirty. That being said, I don't like seeing coaches yelling at players, so Rice isn't completely blameless..

Just kidding:) I love S. Miss. but there was definitely some bad blood brewing from both teams during the series. If we meet in the tourney it might turn ugly but I hope not.
