Sure, it's real easy to come to that conclusion... if you just ignore the millions who have been killed by atheists.

Hold on a minute. Stinky the 24/7 pothead is an aetheist? Since when? 03-lmfao

That's awful.

Biggest mass shooting in American history by 18 people right now. VT was the biggest before this morning.

It's pretty awful what a competent mass shooter can do.

what I can't figure out is what has taken them so long to figure out this part of the equation....

it's only going to get worse....just wait until they chop shop an entire elementary school....

That's already happened. But we did nothing then.

The only difference between Friday night's shooting and Saturday night's shooting was the heritage of the shooter and the number of rounds he was able to get off. One is an assination, the other a terrorist attack.

50 dead and 53 wounded... I wonder what the fearless leader has to say about this. I am pretty sure he will blame this on the gun.

Spent about 2 months there this year (near Lake Ellenor). The amount of people there that always talked about going to this club was staggering.

What's more important to you? The few hundred people truly effected by this or your anti-Obama hardon?

He would have had to re-load a couple or few times. Also, as a Florida resident and CCW holder, it's important to note that bars are no gun zones. Even with a valid permit, you cannot carry in a bar in Florida. Everyone there was defenseless basically.

Serious question to the liberals here, why is it okay to consider banning a constitutional right (2nd amendment right), but not to consider banning Islam (1st amendment right)? Islam kills a lot of people around the world.

Never miss an opportunity to use a crisis for advantage.

The problem is that every time a mass shooting happens, conservatives give their boilerplate condolences and say "now is not the time" to talk about the gun issue, then after a few days it fades from the news cycle and memory.

Rinse, repeat. Time after time, month after month. It's a diversion tactic, but it works for them.

Because it is time to talk about the MUSLIM ISSUE. Are you people blind? 50 ARE DEAD. At least. Muslim. Kebab.

There are layers upon layers of information about this that need to be discussed.

Here's what we know

1) 50 people are dead in a Gay bar shooting in Orlando
2) The shooter is dead and was a US born citizen
3) He was of Afghan origin
4) It is Gay pride month.
5) There are lots of persons of Islamic heritage who go to Gay bars.
6) He used a pistol and an assault rifle to commit these killings

Here's what we don't know

1) Was this person a member of the Gay community? Was he kicked out of the bar last month?
2) Was it radical Islamic terrorism?
3) Where did he get the assault rifle? If illegal, where? If legally obtained, where?

Sounds like another clear cut case of workplace violence per the Obama administration.

I think that's an unfair ******* question for the liberals. It's largely a straw man. I'm pretty certain that there have been less than 5 serious posters--all-time--that ever advocated banning guns. You shouldn't ask them to defend a position they don't necessarily hold, unless someone just wants to play devil's advocate.

This isn't the first attack like this, but rather just the attack with the most number of fatalities.

This isn't the first attack on a Gay venue by a religious extremist either.

This isn't the first mass murder of Gay persons in the USA either.

Advocating for strict licensing and record keeping requirements, bans on certain types of firearms (or extremely strict licensing for those higher caliber/round arms), and bans on certain types of clips is not the same as banning all firearms.

They don't call them 'defense rifles' for a reason. They call them assault rifles.

Surely gun control fanatics aren't thick enough to think if terrorists can acquire guns in France that background checks and "assault weapons" bans will do anything to stop these kinds of attacks.

Wait a minute, of course they are.

We'll need to import more Syrians to get a serious answer to your question. I wonder what color they will use to light up the White House??

They're putting up a 2nd fence at the White House since the Secret Service is so politically correct they have a female at the entrance and the rest are drunk and incompetent.

The father of the shooter has told investigators that the shooter was 'disgusted by two men kissing' when he was in Miami with his kids.

Was it Islamic terrorism, or just anti-Gay hatred? Or both? Could be either.

No need to stick up for him, but I don't see the need to make what happened to these people, their parents, friends, etc less important just so I can feel good on a message board.

I'm sorry, but it takes a really, really messed up person to do that.
