RE: First Presidential Debate Thread
Trump as bad as Hillary when it comes to unnecessary lying.

On this morning denying the sniffles. Why, why, why do they lie over the most insignificant crap.

FOX was as ill prepared as he was last night or they would have thrown the video in his face and exposed him for the lying hack he is.

May sink his entire campaign.

Scandalous. Emails. Post nasal drip. Can we get a do over?

Michael Moore's Twitter on the debate is rather interesting. He says to the average Americans Trump win hands down. He seems to be convinced Trump will win

I've said it before and I'll say it again... Max, if you believe anything about a Frank Luntz panel is non-partisan.. I've got some oceanfront property in Kansas for you.

I don't even listen to the man when he raves on a Republican candidate.... He is the ultimate in bias manipulation from his panels, to his words, to his questions.

Drives me nuts when anyone puts Luntz on. Just awful dishonest hackery.

I think Trump wins Ohio. That NAFTA stuff plays very very well here. Trump has to thread a needle though. Pa. Fl. Her odds went up 6% last night. If you are really a true believer you could win a lot of money betting on a Trump win.

and I will say this. They were wrong on Brexit and one other thing too. Usually those betting markets are spot on.

I think you are correct. In fact, I think Trump wins the entire rust belt - except for IL. Obama won OH during his reelection because of the auto bailouts. OH citizens want to see manufacturing protected, and Trump resonates with that. Ironically, Trump is the candidate of the unions (private ones) while HRC is the candidate of the investment banks and Wallstreet. If anyone seriously thinks HRC did NOT flip flop on the TPP...just GTFOH.

It's anecdotal, but from what I've seen the private union rank and file are trending strongly towards Trump based on the people I know who work in manufacturing plants. HRC does much better with gov't union workers - teachers especially.

Nixon's silent majority is alive and well on this election. The betting is being done by a small minority who think they know human nature well. This primary season and I think this election will defy conventions. It's not just in the U.S. This is a global phenomenon. Populism and nationalism is at an all time high. People are fed up with their leadership.

Who actually watched the entire thing?

40 minutes in it was the same old crap from both of them. No entertainment value so I tucked into a sixer of Rheingeist on the deck instead.

Saints game

Trump=Falcons

Hillary=Saints

Still, the liberals here are busy this morning. I guess the debate was past their bedtime last night. Momma must not let them stay up late.
