We can't expect success in this situation.

Tulane took a bus to Texas when Bob Toledo was there. He bitched about it afterwards and it was sort of their "Sweet Peppers" for a while. Glad to hear that we're not taking shortcuts when it comes to player transportation. Tulane certainly had as much money as we do.

The reality is our administration has no strategic plan/vision. How will support dollars increase if no progress realized. Educated president and AD may be book smart but dumb as hell when it comes to common sense. Lazy turds made no attempt to to present our school to the Big 12. We have a chance for invite? Nope. But damn if you don't believe in your own product why would anyone else

Your second paragraph sums it up pretty good and is one of the points I try to stress....

Give the fans some goals and a vision of what we are looking to do as a program. Give us something, anything, so that we can feel like our donations are actually working towards something. I agree with your comment on the Big12, why in the hell did we not put a presentation out there. Sure we didn't have a real shot, but at least it let the fans know that the program is trying to actually do something.

I also have to give Big Mac a pass relative to divulging 'all' in the realignment game....it's not a secret he wants to move us to 'another level of perceived value'....I'm in the camp of posturing and building to achieve a realistic shot at the end game....and that takes money....
