You showed us just how far we are from being a quality team, and I actually thank you for that because I do believe it'll make us a better team in the long run. We still have a long way to go, but maybe this loss will make our road map a bit more clear.

Pretty campus, and it seemed your fans were also a friendly lot. Enjoyed the trip up there and back despite the outcome. Maybe next season we'll be more competitive.

It is good to see someone from UTSA that can keep his eye on the ball. Maybe you can convince some of your other UTSA fans to turn some of that venom into useful action like you. You guys have a lot of passion that could be put to good use if directed.

Not to rub it in, but you know it's a bad loss when the opposing team's QB runs down one of your CBs and when one of the opposing team's WRs kicks an extra point.

Seems alot like ODU/WKY. Come in with swagger and think you can just roll in and compete. Halfway through the 1Q, you realize the other team is really, really good. Hopefully, UTSA responds like ODU did and ups their game.

What's wrong with coming in with confidence and thinking we can compete? If a team comes in with no faith that they can even compete, they shouldn't even take the field to begin with.

And we already have raised our game this season over the last couple years, and will continue to do so. I have faith in our coaching staff and know we'll be stronger next season. For now, we're all still hoping we'll at least still be able to secure a bowl bid.

Nothing wrong with being confident. Talking about coming in with too much swagger thinking you have arrived before you have.

The last score was for Computer Ratings. The tiebreakers to host conference championship are as follows:

1. Team with overall best record - Currently Tech, WKU & ODU all with 1 loss
2. Head to Head - Tech > WKU; Tech did not play ODU
3. Highest CFP ranking - doubt any of us will be ranked
4. Highest Average Computer Ranking - This is the reason we scored again

Makes sense. We don't typically run up the score for the sake of it.

Reminds me of when La Tech fans tried to justify Dykes running up the score when we were both in the WAC.

Utah State didn't feel the need to do that to us and they did just fine for themselves. I was glad to see them kick your teeth in in the WAC championship game.

No team remains on top forever. You'll be on the other end at some point. Hopefully Wilson returns the favor.

There's just something WRONG with you. 03-lmfao

There's nothing wrong with running up the score but definitely something wrong with an opposing fan not appreciating it.

You are quite the sore loser, if you watch our games you'd know we don't "run up the score" on anyone. Does our second team offense score? Yeah.
1- This game mattered for divisional rights
2- We want to host

Any other game and this wouldnt have happened.

Look at the past two years: USM-LaTech and Rice-LaTech, have been blowouts.

I would have a hard time buying someone scoring with 5 seconds left isn't running up the score. ODU was in the same spot yesterday and just took a knee. Outside of bettors, it really means nothing, but it was certainly running up the score.

I can buy scoring anytime until you can just take a knee and run clock out. It's not like LT hasnt had plenty of chances to get backups some reps.

It's not like UTSA fans came in here talking trash while being a 20+ point underdog or anything. Our backups were in, and believe it or not, they want to compete as well.

Don't go running your mouth about how the game is going to go, then whine when your team doesn't produce and try to seek out social justice. This is football - don't want to be blown out? - stop them.

It was a fairly clean game, the targeting weren't malicious in any way. They were called to protect the players. Good luck to UTSA the rest of the way.

RE: ***** UTSA @ La Tech *****
Only fans that have never play competitive sports see it that way, It is more of insult to a team to say "You are so bad our second string will take a mercy knee"

Holtz put in the second string in the fourth. UTSA score on blocked FG and a failed punt coverage cutting the score to 14. Holtz still left in the second string on senior day, who want to be a part of score on their last game. It's not like it was complete blowout like the Rice game. Only some UTSA fans would be mad about this

You do realize Tech has students and alumni from Texas, all 50 states and from across the world. So I would ease up on all those bigoted stereotypes, backwoods, rednecks, LaTrash

I don't call anyone playing another FBS program scoring with 2nd and 3rd stringers as "running up the score". Now if you are up 4 TD's and still have the first string in, in the 4th quarter, then yep that is not good sportsmanship. It is the defenses job to stop them. I don't see a problem with it.

Thanks, Franko. Most wouldn't either letting second string players and seniors score on senior day
