It is not what Trump promised to the voters because he is in favor of the things listed above. It would also eliminate medicaid expansion, throw the elderly and disabled people under the bus and so forth. It would throw chaos in everybody's health care insurance young or old, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, male and females.

Im with you. I dont necessarily see this as a bad thing. Republican representatives are not bound to the Borg like their democratic counterparts and thus they have can have free thought and an exchange in ideas to make a better bill.

I disagree. They need to kill Obamacare dead now. They can amend later. If they are going to change it, they need to have the general framework in place long before September. All the details can wait until the end of August, but they need to kill it now. Starting over in April will not get it done.

The Dems aren't the ones stopping this. I think this quote from GOP representative Dan Donovan sums up the problem the GOP faces, “My goal for this whole process was to help the people the law harmed and not harm the people it helps.” That sounds wonderful but it's a fantasy. There is nothing that can be passed that in the short term won't harm some people that are being helped now by Obamacare. That's a problem, and the other problem is there's probably nothing that can be passed that in the short term (next year or so) will drastically decrease prices across the board. Even if they pass something amazing there are going to be immediate and painful consequences to a fair number of people and the benefits are not likely to be noticeable as quickly.

Just remember, while the Republicans are arguing this, Obumblecare and the raping of the paying public continues and the closer to collapse is Obumblecare.

Maybe the Republicans should just sit back, let Obumblecare totally collapse leaving the individual insurance market in chaos......then fix it. How about that?
