If I had to guess, I think a group is trying to play chicken with Ryan to see if he will pull it and not have a vote on it. But if it goes up for a vote, I'm betting they have the votes to pass it.

I don't see them letting it go for a vote without knowing the outcome. If they don't have the votes I see them pulling it for aadditional modification

It wont pass in it's current state so it will not come up for a vote.

We have our first real reform. Trump is willing to attack the key underpinnings of ObamaCare if that's what it takes to win votes.

Now they're going to remove the mandated minimum list of coverage, which WILL provide lesser premiums to those willing to forego things like mental health or maternity or Rx coverage. Because, you know, I DON'T NEED MATERNITY CARE. I don't identify as a woman and even if I did I can't give birth. So why should I pay for the coverage?

I suspect we'll see more of these last minute additions to try to buy off enough votes.

Gun Owners of America is now running a full court press against the bill saying it keeps in place ObamaCare's gun control measures.

That's going to put a chill into A CRAPLOAD of Republicans unless GOA's 3 specific items are addressed.

What's the liklihood the bill is subject to a filibuster now that it includes the removal of mandatory minimums of coverage?

Cause our party actually has ideological diversity... The Dems tried to run Joe Lieberman out of the senate over one issue.

A north eastern democrat mainstream enough to be the 2000 VP pick was, six years later, too "far right" for the dems to stomach.
