That presser was way to nice.... they psyched each other out!
Both were definitely subdued. It was reporters only instead of insane fans. I think everyone is tired of the hype and marketing. The weigh in on Friday should be more intense.
I'm still convinced this fight is a circus sideshow. There's no point in debating who will win but there are some interesting conversations around what happens after the fight. Say, for instance, Mayweather decides he doesn't want to risk McGregor making solid contact and plays this in his typical crafty defensive style. Does boxing's reputation suffer if McGregor goes the distance? Not for those who understand the sport but I think for a lot of folks boxing would be diminished. Of course, if he does manage to go the distance I'd guess he'll look like hamburger but it's not hard to imagine his ego taking over and UFC losing their biggest draw. Or, maybe McGregor panics because he can't find an opening so he goes in charging and does end up getting knocked out. That might be the best result for UFC. Finally, what if even the main players realize this is a joke (and are in on it)? Mayweather makes contact at will but doesn't go after the guy hard and McGregor just tries to keep his distance and not look like a complete fool. Everybody goes home rich and American Sport is cheapened another notch.

I think McGregor is just crazy enough to somehow throw Mayweather off his game and land something that hurts. The only problem is, boxing has points... will McGregor get the points needed to beat Mayweather.
IMO, anyone who thinks Mac has a chance is nutso. So he's going to do what, run across across the ring at the bell and ... he can't kick Mayweather, can't elbow him, can't head-butt him, can't eye-gouge him, can't tackle him.
So what's he going to do when gets across the ring to him? Get punched in the head, is what.

He tried as many illegal shots as he could get away without disqualifying himself.
