Is that before or after the flying cars?

Probably before. But how the masses use energy is a different discussion. I love my cheap Mossberg 500 for home defense, I live in a neighborhood with houses close by and children in rooms around me, it does the job. I don't see the need to have rifles shooting rounds designed for military purposes at high rates of fire. I am interested in voting against keeping that legal.
You'll need a supermajority in Congress, the Presidency, and a supermajority of state legislatures to repeal one of the Bill of Rights.

Better get that done before our interest payments exceed our revenue. It'll be harder after that happens.

I'm not looking to, just extending some laws that make rapid fire military weapons illegal.

Good God, man. They ARE ALREADY.

No. "Rapid fire military weapons."

I was referencing a round designed for shooting at people, delivered from a platform that does well at putting multiple rounds near target in a short period of time.

You are going to ban rounds designed for shooting at people.

Now we are just going in circles. A hand gun is not a shotgun is not a long rifle is not an uzi is not a gun from a video game but may be the gun in the hands of someone invading my/your house. Odds are, they are not coming at you with a long rifle, unless you are Jason Bateman from Ozark.

I'm going back to the top, voters will take some of your guns away in the near time. Hunting rifles and shotguns and CCW will be safe for the foreseeable future. ***** all you want

CCW? What is that acronym? Concealed Carry Weapon?

And I would note that the majority of big game (deer) hunters use the AR platform these days. It's gotten so bad that you can't find a Browning 30.06 semi-auto for sale in any of the sporting goods stores anymore.

Las Vegas Strip shooter prescribed anti-anxiety drug in June.
Stephen Paddock, who killed at least 58 people and wounded hundreds more in Las Vegas on Sunday with high-powered rifles, was prescribed an anti-anxiety drug in June that can lead to aggressive behavior, the Las Vegas Review-Journal has learned.
Records from the Nevada Prescription Monitoring Program obtained Tuesday show Paddock was prescribed 50 10-milligram diazepam tablets by Henderson physician Dr. Steven Winkler on June 21.

Ignorance of firearms on full display.

Oh, sh!t... Man, I DO agree we gotta get guns out of the house when you go on mood-altering drugs. Maybe with the exception of a pistol for self protection.

diazepam = valium

It is an anxiolytic, it also helps dulling tremors. Makes you wonder if he doctor shopped to get that. There are some video games over the last few decades where you could 'take' that and it made your reticle more steady.

Could that have been used by him with the intent of improving his accuracy while he was murdering people at the concert?

I don't think Valium is going to cause a mass shooting, nor does it imply mental instability. It also isn't perscribed to take daily. I hate flying and I always take one before getting on a plane. I thint that theory is a reach. I'd be more inclined to buy it if it was something like prozac or even adderal.
