Are you referring to AJ Carter?

AJ Carter

Hasn't he committed to UCLA twice and LSU once. That dude can't make up his mind.

He’s rated 5 stars by a kicking website, not by Rivals or Scout

I didn't see a punter listed yet, but I like the WR (Lee Graham) that committed to WKU yesterday.

I'm very pumped for the early signing period tomorrow. I believe most of FIU's current commits are signing then. Our recruiting coordinator keeps promising us "big surprises".... We'll see.

I am looking for us (FAU) and FIU to become the power twins, like UCF and USF over at that "P6" conference. This could make our rivalry a huge deal and would be extremely beneficial for the conference as a whole.

UNT just got a commit from our third safety over P5's and the highest rated player in our class currently. I think we'll see a lot of young faces on defense next year for the Mean Green.

That would be fun. With the way the recruiting classes appear to be shaping up, I wouldn't be surprised.

For the FAU fans out there, how many players are you guys planning on signing during the early period? Your class seems small for now, but I know it was the same thing last year.

I've heard we've got a ton of prospects coming to the game tonight; if we put on a good show, I could see us signing most of our class over the next few days.

How does it look on FIU's front? Do you think your bowl game being on Thursday will help get some extra signings on Friday?

I don't think any of our commits will necessarily wait to see the results of the bowl game, even though some are planning on attending. I believe most of the class is signing on Wednesday.

FIU gets another 3-star commitment: a 6'5" DE from TX, who was committed to Rice at one point. FIU moves up to the #2 spot in C-USA with only 15 rated commitments according to 247 Sports. Really loving what Butch and staff are putting together here. What a night and day difference from the Ron Turner era.

I'm glad to hear you'll be locking up most of the class early!

I agree. Butch Davis has been an incredible asset to the FIU football program. I can't wait to see the team he puts together next season!
