When did I ever mention USF or any other school for that matter. This was about the AAC as a whole. UCF has won 2 major bowls. Houston has won another, UConn has won mens and womens basketball championships, and yes, USF has been ranked in like 20 straight polls in football (when was the last time ANY G4 team has done that, if EVER).

Sunbelt conference has the best bowl win percentage (0.727) among all FBS conferences last 2 years. What else you want from us?
So impressive. The best bowl winning percentage, wow. The time you made it with the cow, I want to party with you.

I wanted to answer this question, so I went and took a look at the bowl results. But then I couldn't figure out which teams were Sun Belt and which were CUSA. And then I realized I didn't care. Congrats on knocking off North Texas in a bowl game. Unless, of course, North Texas is a Sun Belt team. In that case, my condolences for the loss.
that's ok. It probably has to do with geography. I live in the Southeast. I'm not sure which teams belong to BIG10, BIG12, PAC12, MAC, and MWC. To borrow your words, I honestly don't care either. I'm familiar with some AAC and CUSA teams because they are close to Atlanta.
North Texas is CUSA. Troy, a fellow Sunbelt team, kicked their azz.
I'm not sure why the MAC is so difficult to remember. Purdue dominates that conference.
what I know about MAC is....that they suck at football. SBC champ destroyed MAC champ 34-0 in their bowl game.
Be sure to hang a banner.

Gotcha, the WAC was 2-1 in BCS Bowls much better than the AAC teams that made up CUSA 2.0 during that timeframe.
So UH, Memphis, UCF ECU, Tulsa, Tulane, SMU... were riding the coat tails of the WAC

lol... usf beat an sec team in a bowl last year, and a b12 team in a bowl this year... we are doing our share. we all cant win the NC like ucf did...
BUT if you read the OP again, carefulky, the discussion is about CONFERENCES. Not schools. you had to make it about usf because your conference is... lol
You're 4-1 against P5 teams in the last two years, and will finish both seasons in the AP poll. USF is doing it's part.

Why are the G4 trying to ride the AAC's coattails to success
If UCF going undefeated and barely sniffing the Top-10 proves anything it’s there is no such thing as the P6. Us G5 are in this together. We should boycott the college football playoff and if our conferences were worth a damn they would be raising antitrust lawsuits.

La Tech is such an after thought, will be totally honest thought you guys were 1-AA until I saw Tech on tv with Sonny as the coach.
You have simply lost your mind dude. YOur jealousy is eating you up. La Tech is so far behind the schools in the AAC its ridiculous. Posting your blind rage over on this board will not change the fact that the game is over for La Tech. It’s okay, find another hobby. I suggest you pick a team from the AAC and start rooting for it. The AAC is on tv all the time unlike Tech so there are lots of opportunities to find us in action. In fact I have just made you an honorary Pirate fan. Cheers

I thought the big brothers were the teams who have the winning record against their rival (6-3). We have been 4-1 against P5 teams the past two seasons. Also in USF's short history, we have beaten three top 10 teams. And we actually have a winning record in our bowl games, unlike USM

Lol okay, and back when dinosaurs roamed the earth Army and Princeton were declared National Champions. The fact that you are posting on an AAC board speaks volumes. Although I must admit this whole UCF national championship argument is about allowing ALL FBS schools a realistic chance to compete for the National Championship if they deserve it based upon objective criteria particularly if said team is undefeated.

He said, “conferences that have never won anything”—Yes CUSA and SBelt.
But the MWC and MAC have gone to the big bowls. (MWC undefeated, MAC winless.) The AAC is also undefeated (3-0) in the big bowls.

This has got to be the most irrelevant post I have every seen posted on this board. First off, the WAC doesn't exist anymore, so posting WAC stats is beyond ridiculous. Secondly, Utah and TCU are no longer in the MWC, so posting info about them is also ridiculous (why aren't I posting major bowls by Louisville that happened several years ago? They are former AAC). And third, the AAC has only been in existence in it's current form for 5 years. In those 5 years, they have won 3 major bowls (not to mention a men's and women's basketball championship). Case closed. Try again.

Otherwise add in UC's 2 BCS bowls in the Big East and UConn's 1.

It give them hope that if they invest in their programs with time they might have a chance to play for a National Championship. I think that is all anyone wants is a fair chance.
