At this stage, it’s about bad losses. And UC doesn’t have any.

Thanks for answering the question. Definitely not a good sign.

RPI #27 for Cincy...vs RPI #47 for WSU. One more bad loss...

Do you realize how bad it looks when I asked an innocent question and you couldn't answer it?

Don't like it much when it's turned around on you, does it?

With no quality wins, Cincinnati could be a loss or two away from the bubble.

You can't honestly believe that last sentence you typed...

UC has a bunch of good, solid wins but no signature wins. That will cap the ceiling at a low 2 seed if they keep winning, I'd imagine.

I mean SMU is technically our highest metric win. At UCLA might be second honestly. I get your point and it's somewhat valid, but be careful with that logic. What's WSUs best win?

RE: 1/22 Bracketology
Houston, the time is now to separate from the pack. We need you to finish strong. Your biggest challengers for a top-3 finish in the conference have each lost a star player, and their at-large hopes are fading fast. It's time to step it up and make the jump from bubble to lock. The margin for error is slim, and now is not the time for another clunker like the game at Tulane. On behalf of Cincinnati and Wichita State fans, we are holding out our hands, ready to invite you into our tournament club. Won't you join us?

I don't think WSU is close to the bubble, but they are close to the 7-10 soup.

I disagree. WSU has worse quality wins than Cincy. One more bad loss and there will be bubble talk because of that. Of course a year end win over UC would put an end to that.

Depends on the metric. The Committee still uses RPI. Cincy beat RPI #27 on a neutral court.

uh, no. WSU has 8 wins vs tier 1 and 2 teams. 8-4. With NO Bad losses.

Also, there's only really 4 chances left of a tier 3 loss for WSU....
Sunday home vs 127 Tulsa
2/6 away @ 106 Memphis(even there would need to be 30 spots worse)
2/10 home vs 73 UConn
2/21 home vs 128 Tulane

And with 2 of them(Memphis, UConn)- them beating Wichita probably would make them not a tier 3 loss.

Looks good when you conflate. What’s their record vs Tier 1?

Then you can save your trolling commentary for your own.

How are we with the zero quality wins when I’ve already listed a page or 2 back that we are 7-2 versus the RPI groups 1 and 2?

4-2 vs RPI Group 1
3-0 vs RPI Group 2

Wins in G1 and G2 are quality wins by definition.

Your trolling sucks much like your teams ability to work through screens...

Both teams have very similar resumes at this point. So either one saying the other team would be on the bubble is by default saying your own team would be on the bubble.

At least Cincy has a Top 30 RPI win. WSU isn’t even close.

While true .. You have a Neutral #28 win. WSU has a Neutral #43 win. Those are both the same category (Tier 1)

WSU's is also a Major 7 win, which means it's RPI is more likely to go UP than Buffalo's which is more likely to fall by the end of the year. @Baylor and @OSU also could move to tier 1

Yet again ... similar resumes.

Yeah except Cincinnati is in the top 10 and climbing and your programs dropping like a lead balloon, but yeah otherwise you’re right...<sniff>
