What needs to be done to "steal" a fourth ?
Maybe have UCF or Temple either get to - or win outright - the conference at the tournament in Orlando ?
Temple will be in if they finish 4-0 down the stretch. 3-1 would still look good IMO but wouldn't be a lock.
2-2 means they have to do something dramatic in Orlando.
Eh, Temple just needs 18 wins, however they can get them.
Houston, Cincy, and WSU are locks.
SMU needs a lot of help.
UCF needs a semi final run playing the right teams (two of the top 3) or a run to the finals. NIT right now.
Every one else has to win it all.
UConn could get NIT maybe, Tulsa wins the games they are suppose to, they're NIT. Memphis can make a run at the NIT but probably out.
Tulane, ECU, and USF are out.

To me what has impressed me most about Houston is that UC really made life hard on Gray both games. The other guys responded and made plays both times. In the first one UC just responded as well and made more plays. Tonight the opposite happened.

Cincy will still be top 10.
WSU will stay ranked and probably move up.
Temple is still on course for fourth bid.
UConn is hurting.
Tulsa keeps it's post season hopes up.
These two are mutually exclusive
How do you figure?
sunday's game eliminates one
In what world?
Houston is in already.
Temple's resume is good enough all they need is 18 wins however they can get them.

Armoni Brooks is a stud... That young man can flat out shoot.

I think he means that UH needs to beat Temple in order to get ranked. Temple likely needs the UH game in order to get an at large, so you can't have both.

Did you read what you wrote? You said Houston will be ranked. If Temple beats them on Sunday, they will not be ranked.

In is different than ranked. Houston would probably be 23 or 24 if rankings came out tommorow, a loss to temple surely would knock them off the polls on monday. And i guess we differ on how much temple needs to do to get an at-large. Losing sunday will surely take them way “off course”. Would need to win 5 straight to get back in imo

The combination of Prov beating Nova last night and UH knocking off the Bearcats today is probably the best thing that could have happened to our rpi.

Well since every person agrees they need 18 to be safe and might get in with 17 and they already have 15, I would say you're an outlier.
Houston is already receiving votes and just beat the number 5 team. Even a loss will put them on the edge, but imo they are in the top 25 unless Temple blows them out.

Gotcha now. Still don't think you're right, but you have a good argument for Houston's ranking.

I think Houston is in the NCAA tourney now unless they lose one of the 2 games next week. If they keep on winning, they might be able to get up to a 6 or 7 seed I think even.

5 have losses ..even losing 2 or 3 of our last 6 and being 22-8 we are likely still in
losing out or 5 of the lat 6 is the only way we aren't making it now...

They're in, period. A top 30 RPI, they're already a 7 seed. Trying to work themselves in to a six or five. Had they played a tougher ooc they would be fighting for a top four seed.

RE: 2/15 AAC Basketball Games
Is there any tools where you can play with your RPI from your previous games and upcoming games to see how high you can make it or how low by changing it from win/loss etc.
I would be so curious to see how high we could be if we had beaten Drexel, LSU, and Tulane all of which are bad losses now.
